Stone Man

Sharon Johanssen, a nurse vacationing in Colorado, struggles to revive a tourist in the throes of death. Introducing himself as an unlicensed physician, a man comes to her aid. He performs an extraordinary life-saving proceedure then leaves the scene. In awe of the deed, Sharon finds him. He is Alex Vessali, a self-doubting, disgraced surgeon. In an isolated cottage in the Adirondacks, their lives imperiled, they solve the enigma of Stone Man.
